Therme Lindau

The site:

The outdated Eichwald lido, which was recently replaced by the new Lindau thermal baths, was situated on a waterside plot with mature trees. The new facility consists of three areas: the family and aquatic sports pool, a spa and wellness space, and a spacious indoor and outdoor sauna complex, complemented by a gym area and restaurant. The elongated building is laid out over two levels and looks out on the lakeside and mountain backdrop with a generous glass front.

The project:

It was all about the grand design: everything new, all the way from the basement to the roof.

The challenge:

When a large-scale, prestigious public site like the Lindau thermal baths is at the planning stage, one thing is clear from the outset – everything has to be spot on; not only visually, but technically too. Of course, this particularly applies to the sanitation areas, which is why the first-class and above all sustainable products and concept solutions from CONTI+ were selected right from the start of the planning process! A significant point in this regard was the comprehensive and modern CNX water management system, which even integrates DN20 shower systems with ease, and in doing so delivers all important hygiene functions in the spa area too!

Sanitary regulations, the German Drinking Water Ordinance, safety, ergonomics, aesthetics, cost-effectiveness, sustainability – countless aspects had to be considered, solutions had to be found, and the unexpected had to be managed.

Products used:

• 50 CONGENIAL FIT DN 15 showers with Rain 2 shower head and CONGENIAL multifunctional water inlet. The electronic showers deliver hygiene functions that are customised to the respective sanitary facility. The compact CONBOX FIT concealed box is very easy to maintain, thanks to its front access.
• 35 CONFLOW DN 20 showers with different shower heads (DN 20 250 mm rain shower head, DN 20 250 mm spiked shower head, DN 20 and downpour shower head) for the spa area, plus a range of different Kneipp kits. The rain and downpour showers are particularly invigorating and, thanks to their high flow rate, guarantee uninterrupted showering pleasure at all times, even when large numbers of guests want to shower at the same time.
• 16 precise-fit Cubus washbasins, 30 lino L10 washbasin faucets (8 of which with 117 mm faucet extension kit). The washbasin faucets stand out thanks to their modern design, smart automatic shut-off technology and exceptional reliability.
• Last but not least: all shower and washbasin faucets in the thermal baths are integrated into the CONTI+ CNX water management system. Thanks to the intelligent technology, all operating, documentation and safety functions (such as the convenient automation of rinses, setting operating periods for thermal disinfection and setting operation and cleaning stops) can be controlled, monitored and logged centrally and reliably with ease. Hygiene at the highest level!
