CONTI+ reinvents washbasin faucet technology
With its CONTI+ lino PRIMUS upright faucet, the Wettenberg-based manufacturer of washroom equipment has this year delivered a washbasin faucet with an entirely unique hygiene function: the proportional valve technology of the electronically controlled thermostat enables separate flushing of the cold, mixed and hot water lines. In addition to a sanitary rinse with mixed water and thermal disinfection with hot water, separate flushing of the cold water line can therefore also be carried out. This is not possible with conventional washbasin faucets. As a result, this technology developed by CONTI+ can almost completely rule out the possibility of microbiological contamination of the drinking water. Andreas Kregler, Managing Director of CONTI Sanitärarmaturen GmbH: “We débuted this technology last year in our CONPRIMUS shower panels and are very proud that we can now offer it for washbasin faucets as well. This allows us to achieve a hygiene standard that is entirely unique.”
Possibility of integration into the CONTI+ Service APP and CNX water management system
The new faucet can be integrated into both the CONTI+ Service APP and the CNX water management system. This allows very easy and reliable management of all operating, documentation and safety functions, such as convenient automation of rinses, setting operating periods for thermal disinfection and setting operation and cleaning stops. As with all electronic faucets in the lino range, the basic functions can also be set directly on the faucet using the Click function key.
Thanks to its clear design language with high recognition value, the CONTI+ lino PRIMUS upright faucet makes an excellent combination with other fittings in the lino portfolio. The faucet can therefore be easily integrated into existing systems with no visual discrepancies.
The thermostat for temperature and volume control is offered for installation under the countertop on hanger bolts or as an installation kit for the CONTI+ lino PRIMUS upright faucet. The washbasin faucet is ideal for public, semi-public and commercial environments, as these areas have to meet particularly high standards of functional safety, as well as hygiene and maintenance. Since March 2021, it has also been available in a chrome finish.
