CONTI+ fittings and the CNX water management system ensure hygienically safe operation
The city of Lindau is located in the border triangle of Germany, Austria and Switzerland with an impressive view of the Alps directly on Lake Constance. The Eichwald lido, which had started to show signs of disrepair, was located on a bank of land with mature trees. It was replaced last year by the new building of the Lindau thermal baths. The thermal bath comprises three areas: the family and sports pool, a thermal bath and wellness area as well as a spacious indoor and outdoor sauna area, supplemented by gastronomy and a fitness area. The elongated, austere space comprises two levels and opens with a generous glass front to the lake shore and a wonderful view of the mountains. At the interface of the two structures is the two-storey entrance, allowing access to both the family pool and the lido as well as the thermal world with sauna.
Air spaces connect the different levels with each other and allow a variety of perspectives. An upward expansion of the interior space via an atrium also allows daylight into the extensive interior space. The connection to the outside space can be felt everywhere and gives the flow of space its special effect. In addition, calm, natural materials such as wood, stone, glass and concrete characterize the architecture. Small details such as the mosaic tiles with gold rims or strong coloured areas, constantly create new moods with the light and shadow play of the day and season.
All sanitary areas equipped with CONTI+ fittings
In order to meet the complex demands of the public building - in terms of hygiene guidelines, drinking water regulations, safety and ergonomics, as well as in terms of economy and sustainability - all sanitary areas were equipped by CONTI+.
For the showers, the operators opted for the CONGENIAL FIT concealed solution with the tried-and-tested CONGENIAL multifunctional water line. The electronic showers enable hygiene functions that are individually tailored to the respective sanitary facility, which are also integrated into the CONTI+ CNX water management system in the thermal baths. Another advantage: the compact CONBOX FIT flush-mounted box is very easy to maintain thanks to front access.
Especially refreshing and invigorating rain and drench showers have been installed in the wellness area. Here the choice fell on CONTI+ CONFLOW shower fittings with a DN20 water line: Thanks to the large flow volume, showering pleasure is guaranteed at all times. Different shower heads also ensure different jet types.
The CONTI+ lino L10 features on the washbasin fittings. It is characterized by its modern design, smart self-closing technology and extremely reliable functionality. All shower and washbasin fittings in the thermal baths are integrated into a CNX water management system from CONTI+. Thanks to the intelligent technology, all functions relevant to operation, documentation and safety, such as the convenient automation of flushing, the setting of the operating times for thermal disinfection and the setting of operating or cleaning stops, can be easily and securely controlled, monitored and logged centrally. The greatest possible degree of hygiene is thus ensured in the shower and washrooms of the Therme Lindau.
