CONTI+ innovation for the kitchen: new faucet range with fully electronically programmable hybrid kitchen faucet
Wettenberg, Germany, 28/08/2024. With the new CONTI+ salina series, the Wettenberg-based faucet manufacturer has developed two new hybrid kitchen faucets that impress with their innovative functions. The electronically programmable 300° sensor activation range is particularly practical and can be set to the exact degree using the touch control panel in the sensor ring directly below the spout. This eliminates the need for programming via a separate remote control or even the time-consuming dismantling of the faucet, as is often required with conventional products. The adjustable swivel range also offers a high degree of comfort and safety: accidental activation is prevented as the water flow can only be triggered via the IR sensor when the spout is within the programmed range. The CONTI+ salina is operated either touch-free via the infrared sensor or manually using the ergonomic lever. If both hands are needed to hold a saucepan, for example, the sensor-controlled activation of the water flow is ideal. Manual operation via the lever is useful for particularly precise adjustment of the water volume and temperature setting. The high, swivelling C-spout allows even large pots to be filled with ease. The sensor integrated in the spout swivels with every turn, ensuring that the water flow is triggered with pinpoint precision. The new kitchen faucets are available in both high (CONTI+ salina KS10) and low (CONTI+ salina KS30) pressure versions.
Strong jet, soft landing
CONTI+ has also equipped the salina kitchen faucets with a soft jet aerator. Thanks to a damper integrated in the aerator, the flow rate increases so smoothly that the water jet remains virtually splash-free, even from greater heights, and hits the sink surface softly. This makes it easy to fill glasses, cups and pots without splashing.
Simple installation
The CONTI+ salina kitchen faucets are also impressively easy to install. Thanks to the new plastic attachment, they can be effortlessly fixed in place by hand. There is no need to fiddle around with a spanner under the work surface. The faucets are suitable for installation on kitchen worktops up to a maximum thickness of 55 mm.
Convenient setting of value-added functions
The new hybrid kitchen faucets from CONTI+ have a variety of useful functions. For example, they can be temporarily switched off to clean the sink. The running time for filling the sink is also adjustable. In addition, the sensor sensitivity, water run-on time and 12, 24 or 48-hour sanitary rinse can all be set directly on the faucets. Both CONTI+ salina versions can also be integrated into the Service APP and the CONTI+ CNX water management system. This enables all functions to be checked and logged at any time.
The new CONTI+ salina KS10 and CONTI+ salina KS30 hybrid faucets will be available in a chrome finish from September 2024.
