CONTI+ celebrates 50th anniversary with special edition GRAPHITE black line

In 2024, CONTI Sanitärarmaturen GmbH celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special edition: the new GRAPHITE black line.  Combining sleek design and advanced sensor technology, it marks five decades of innovation in water-efficient and hygienic sanitary solutions.

The centerpiece of this special edition is the PVD-coated CONTI+ ultra GM10 Public washbasin mixer. Its dark, GRAPHITE-like finish sets a distinctive and modern accent in public and commercial washrooms.

CONTI+ CONPRIMUS shower panels, CONTI+ ultra urinal mixers and a comprehensive range of accessories in RAL classic black complete the special edition. Udo Hilbert, Managing Director of CONTI Sanitärarmaturen GmbH: "In private bathrooms and kitchens, black fittings and accessories are increasingly becoming a modern eye-catcher. Especially in combination with light-coloured furniture, they create a strong and modern contrast. With our GRAPHITE black line, with its cool and elegant GRAPHITE finish, we are now bringing this trend into public and semi-public shower and washrooms. The wide range of accessories, such as toilet roll holders, changing tables, waste bins and soap and disinfectant dispensers, ensure a uniform and perfectly coordinated overall look. All products in the GRAPHITE black line special edition will be available from summer 2024.

 

For 50 years, CONTI+ has been at the forefront of product innovation for public and commercial buildings, as well as the healthcare sector, with flexible and holistic shower and washroom solutions

The company is known for its innovative products, which are particularly suitable for the refurbishment, renovation and modernisation of buildings. In 1978, for example, CONTI+ developed the first oil-hydraulic self-closing valve for shower fittings. The successor model came onto the market 40 years ago and is still installed in current industrial systems today. The Wettenberg-based company can also look back on many years of experience in the field of water management: back in 1998, the fittings manufacturer launched CONBUS, the first water management system on the market that could control up to 100 fittings. The system has been continuously developed over the past 26 years. Today, up to 150 electronic showers, washbasins and urinal taps can be managed with just one system using a PC, tablet or smartphone.

The shower panel with fresh water station launched in 2006 also caused a stir: CONTI+ CONFRESH was specially designed for properties that only have a cold water connection. The mixer manufacturer presented the shower panel with thermostatic mixer, robust piezo push-button and integrated fresh water station as an intelligent and sustainable solution. Hot water comes from a central heat source directly on site and heats the cold drinking water via the integrated plate heat exchanger. This guarantees fresh and well-tempered shower water - even in older buildings with often outdated technology. With the CONTI+ CONFRESH shower panels, the company, which has been part of the Swiss Fortuna Group since 2014, has once again demonstrated its expertise in the field of refurbishment, renovation and modernisation. In 2021, CONTI+ also reinvented washbasin faucet technology. With lino PRIMUS, the Wettenberg-based sanitary manufacturer presented a washbasin faucet with a globally unique hygiene function: the proportional valve technology of the electronically controlled thermostat enables separate rinsing of cold, mixed and hot water. Thanks to the technology developed within the Fortuna Group, microbiological contamination of drinking water can be almost completely eliminated.

As a result, the company achieves a standard of hygiene that is still unrivalled worldwide.

New products that are also compatible with old faucets and valves

The CONTI+ brand stands for durability and longevity. When new products are designed, care is always taken to ensure that they are compatible with old faucets. For example, the tap hole dimensions of the concealed shower bodies have remained the same for decades. This means that almost any system can be retrofitted with little effort. Even 40-year-old fittings from CONTI+ and other manufacturers can be brought up to date quickly and cost-effectively in terms of technology, hygiene and design. At the heart of every shower conversion is the CONTI+ CONGENIAL adaptive multifunctional water circuit. Thanks to its user-oriented valve and cartridge technology, it can be used in almost any shower system - whether mechanical or electronic. This makes the CONGENIAL a universal, future-proof and functionally reliable renovation solution for all old and existing systems.

With the CNX Watermanagement System up to 150 electronic faucets and devices can be controlled centrally via PC, Tablet or Smartphone.

With CONTI+ CONFRESH cold drinking water is heated directly at the point of use with the aid of the thermostatic mixer, integral fresh water module and robust piezo pushbutton.

Turning old into new: Thanks to the dimensions that have remained constant for decades and the conceptual continuation of the flush-mounted body and water line, CONTI+ products can be retrofitted to almost any system with little effort.

Since 2023, CONTI+ has been offering its trade partners an online shop for searching for and ordering spare parts.
